The Annual Science Fair 2024 was a tremendous success, with over 60 projects submitted by students from Primaire 4 through Secondaire 6. This year’s theme was « Science for Our Community » and the quality of the work produced was outstanding.
First prize went to Secondaire 5 students Jean-Paul Mubake and Leila Nzigire for their water purification prototype designed specifically for use in rural Nord-Kivu communities. Their project was praised by the judges for its practical applicability and rigorous methodology.
We congratulate all participants and thank our science teachers — Prof. Jean Mukwege, Dr. Fatima Ngozi, and their teams — for the exceptional preparation they provided.
The winning projects will be displayed in the school lobby for the remainder of the term.
